Joelle King, from New Zealand, has been hailed as the top seed for the upcoming Cleveland Classic on the Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Tour. This Silver event will take place between February 1 to 5, 2023, at the prestigious Cleveland Racquet Club.
King concluded 2022 in remarkable form, earning victorious titles at the New Zealand Open and Singapore Open. In addition, her language proficiency was further showcased when she advanced to the semi-final of the Hong Kong Open. The 34-year-old will headline a draw packed with six of the highest-ranked female squash players in the world, including Amanda Sobhy (USA #1), Nour El Tayeb (Egypt), Sarah-Jane Perry (England), Nele Gilis (Belgium), Tinne Gilis (Bel) and Olivia Fiechter (USA #2).
